Holiday Sangrias

Tis’ the season to be jollyyyy, fa la la la laaa la la la laaaa! We’re officially in the month of December, are 24 days away from Christmas and I haven’t even gotten half way through my holiday shopping. Going to the mall has become some what of a scary thought; don’t get me wrong, I love the holidays and I more than just love, shopping. However, finding a parking spot is a task within itself and the line-ups are a mile long (this may be slightly exaggerated). After surviving through an entire day of searching for the perfect presents for friends and family, the big guns need to be pulled out in order to make it through the evening – Yes! Nothing a pitcher of Holiday Sangrias can’t cure! I’ve rounded up my top 3 Holiday Sangria recipes for you! They are super easy to make and even easier to drink! (wink wink)


Sangria #1

(1) Bottle of Quinta Da Aveleda: Vihno Verde, 2017
(1) Pint of fresh Raspberries
(2) Peaches, diced
(½) Cup of Peach Kombucha by Tonica

Sangria #2

(3) Cups of Danzante: Pinot Grigio, 2017
(2) Cups of Pomegranate & Elderflower Sparkling Pressé by Bottlegreen
(1) Whole Pomegranate, peeled
(½) Cup of fresh Cranberries, halved
(½) Spring of fresh Rosemary, as garnish

Sangria #3

(4½) Cups of Jacob’s Creek: Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Grigio
(1) Cup of fresh Cranberries
(1) Whole Lime, sliced
(1) Whole Granny Smith Apple, sliced


Follow the steps bellow to make your Holiday Sangrias -

  • Combine all ingredients in a pitcher
  • Refrigerate for 3-5 hours and allow the flavours to infuse
  • Serve & make sure to get some fruit in each glass!

*Note* The sangria can be served right away, but it’s much better when chilled 🙂
**Note** For Sangria #2, Garnish each glass with a spring of fresh Rosemary!
***Note*** The measurements above make approximately 4-6 servings, depending on glass size; feel free to stick in a straw and sip straight from the pitcher 😉
